The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced that on Tuesday, the process of collecting mail-in ballot packages for voting outside Kosovo in the Local Elections for Mayors and Municipal Assemblies has been completed.
The ballot packages were collected from CEC mailboxes in 22 countries, as well as from the CEC mailbox in Kosovo itself.
According to data from the process, a total of 33,841 ballot packages were collected. Once they arrive in Kosovo, these packages will undergo verification and counting at the Counting and Results Center.
During the registration process, 43,933 citizens had registered to vote by mail for the 2025 Local Elections. The voting period started on September 17 and ended on October 11, 2025.
