Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) President Miloš Vučević has accused Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti of being the main sponsor and alleged backer of the student-led electoral list in Serbia, without providing evidence for the claim in his statement.

“Now it is officially clear what we have been telling the citizens of Serbia for months: the so-called ‘student blockade list’ has only one real patron and sponsor, and that is Albin Kurti,” Vučević said.

Vučević made the remarks in response to a statement by the Party for Freedom, Justice and Survival, led by Nenad Rašić, who also serves as minister for communities and returns in Kosovo’s government. The party had said that supporting students was particularly important at this moment.

Vučević’s comments linked the party’s expression of support for the students to his allegation that Kurti was behind the student-led list.
