Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has accused Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti of trying to eliminate the Serbian List, the main political representative of Kosovo Serbs, ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9.

In a statement on Instagram, Vučić claimed that the Serbian population in Kosovo is facing increasingly difficult circumstances.

“…At the same time, Albin Kurti is attempting to eliminate the only political opponent in Kosovo, which is the Serbian List. With the help of his allies, Kurti aims to eradicate the Serbian people from the southern province,” wrote Vučić.

Vučić also expressed concern about potential U.S. sanctions against NIS (Serbian Oil Industry), which he believes could have a significant impact on Serbia’s stability.

“When you add the harsh attacks from various pressure groups within the country, it’s clear that the ultimate goal is the collapse of Serbia. But Serbia will not bow to anyone. Serbia will not stop! No surrender!” he declared.

The Serbian List was recently denied certification to participate in the elections, further straining relations between Kosovo and Serbia amid ongoing political and territorial disputes.
