Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated today that he is working to secure the withdrawal of recognition of Kosovo’s independence by additional African countries, adding that more details on this matter will be available in October.

He made this statement in New York, where he is attending the United Nations General Assembly, responding to a journalist’s question about whether more African states are preparing to revoke their recognition of Kosovo, Tanjug reports.

“I am working on this. You will have new information very soon in October. We have already achieved something,” said Vučić.

The Serbian president also noted that UN Secretary-General António Guterres is well informed about the situation of Serbs in Kosovo, based on UNMIK reports.
