The leader of the Serbian National Movement, Miroslav Aleksić, has called on Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to apologize to everyone for his recent statement urging people to avoid conflicts and quarrels over money in the name of toppling the government.
Aleksić condemned Vučić’s statement as shameful and emphasized that “students, who are the future of the country and fight for justice and freedom,” have every right to protest.
The statement by Vučić was also commented on by the deputy and president of the New Face of Serbia, Miloš Parandilović.
“The nonsense of Aleksandar Vučić. This is a man who is the best pupil of Šešelj’s school, someone who cannot tolerate criticism, which is why he is now waging a battle with his own youth. As president of the country, he is fighting against those who are the future of this nation—students—and is trying to silence them so that no voice of opposition against him appears in the public opinion,” he stated.
