Vucic denies Srebrenica genocide again!

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on September 26 awarded Hungary’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Zuzana Horvat, with the order of the Serbian flag of the first degree.

“Thank you for listening, understanding and supporting the right of the Serbian people to freedom, independence and truth,” Vucic wrote in a post Instagram.Ai he added that Hungary “will always have a loyal partner and friend” in Serbia.

Hungary was one of the countries that voted at the UN in May against a resolution declaring July 11 as the International Day of commemoration of the genocide in Srebrenica and condemning genocide denial and the glorification of war criminals.

Vucic previously declared in New York in September that he would honor representatives of countries “who were on Belgrade’s side” during the adoption of the resolution on Srebrenica at the United Nations General Assembly in May.

On September 23, Vucic also handed Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasili Nebenzha, the order of the Serbian flag of the first instance.

Vucic, meanwhile, is currently in New York for the session of the United Nations General Assembly.

In May, 84 countries voted for the resolution on Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Day, 19 were against, including Russia and China, while 68 countries abstained.

Belgrade lobbied against the resolution.

In the Srebrenica genocide, committed in July 1995 by members of the Republika Srpska Army, at least 8,372 Bosniaks were killed.
