Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has alleged that Kosovo authorities manipulated the results of the recent parliamentary elections to prevent Srpska Lista from securing all 10 seats allocated to the Serbian community in the Kosovo Assembly.

Speaking at a Serbian government session, Vučić addressed the head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, stressing the importance of exposing these alleged irregularities.

“We counted the votes in Serbian-majority areas, and Srpska Lista won 10 mandates. However, unexpectedly— or perhaps not— Nenad Rašić received a significant number of votes in predominantly Albanian areas, where we could not oversee the process,” Vučić claimed.

He pointed out that Srpska Lista had no election monitors in Peja, Glogovac, Shtime, Rahovec, and Malisheva, allowing Rašić to gain enough votes for one mandate, reducing Srpska Lista’s count to nine.

Vučić also called for continued attention to what he described as the persecution of Serbs in Kosovo.

Regarding Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vučić emphasized Serbia’s commitment to helping Republika Srpska (RS) navigate its political crisis while maintaining peace and stability in line with the Dayton Agreement. He urged Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić to organize a visit by RS President Milorad Dodik and Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić to the Serbian Parliament.

Additionally, Vučić announced upcoming diplomatic meetings, including talks with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte on March 19 and European leaders in Brussels on March 25.
