The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, commented on the arrest warrant issued for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Parliament Speaker Nenad Stevandić, and the Prime Minister of the entity, Radovan Višković. Vučić stated that the arrest warrant is not a contribution to peace, but rather a contribution to the destabilization and potential complete destruction of the region.
The arrest warrants were issued by the Prosecutor’s Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of questioning them.
In a social media video, the Serbian leader emphasized that Serbia does not support the arrest of these officials in any way.
He added, “Serbia will always fight for peace, preserve peace, and respect the Dayton Peace Agreement, but will also stand by the Republic of Srpska and its leadership.”
