The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has warned that he will change the “doctrine and approach” in the dialogue with Kosovo.

He spoke to journalists after meeting with Serbian students from Kosovo, where he said that Serbia will change its approach in the dialogue.

“When someone deceives you once, it happens to good people because they trust someone’s word or signature. But, when you are deceived for the second time, you may have trusted too much or wanted to believe. If it continues like this, then it is not about the one who deceived you, but that you are a fool. We are no longer such fools,” Vucic said, adding that he remains open to dialogue but “differently.”

As reported by “Danas.rs,” the Serbian president said that in the coming days, Serbia expects bad news.

“I will explain to you how some so-called friends deceived us and lied to us regarding the membership of Kosovo in the Council of Europe. We said what would happen if this happens because they think they have the right to apply the agreement deceitfully. It will be very difficult for us because someone’s goal is to push the Serbian people as far away from Kosovo and Metohija as possible and to provide full legitimacy and legality to the actions of those who are expelling the Serbs. It’s just a part of what awaits us,” Vucic said.
