Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has stated that Serbia will not recognize the independence of Kosovo at any cost and will continue to pursue an independent policy in line with its national interests.
“Firstly, they are trying to finish everything about Kosovo as quickly as possible, but as long as I am the president of this government, we will not recognize Kosovo’s independence at any cost,” said the Serbian president.
As he explained, this stance is not because they love Albanians and hate Serbs, but because of Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reported by KO.
“In order to say to Putin – don’t refer to the Kosovo precedent when talking about Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Luhansk, Crimea, because it doesn’t apply, we made a bilateral agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, and you can no longer ask for this,” Vučić said.
