Following the failed vote for Albulena Haxhiu, Vetëvendosje (VV) made a second proposal for Parliament Speaker, putting forward Donika Gërvalla.
However, the party was unable to secure enough votes, and Gërvalla received only 57 votes, the same as Haxhiu in the previous attempt.
This marks the first time in the new legislature that a candidate other than Haxhiu has been proposed for the position of Parliament Speaker. The next session is scheduled on Friday at 11 AM.
