PDK MP Vlora Çitaku has responded to acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s recent statement claiming that “there is no institutional crisis” in the country.
Çitaku reminded the public that more than three months have passed since the elections, yet Kosovo still lacks both a functioning Assembly and a legitimate Government.
“According to Albin Kurti, there is no crisis – neither institutional nor political. Just as he doesn’t see an economic crisis, he ignores the rising cost of energy and the increasing cost of living,” she wrote in a public statement.
The PDK MP called on the ruling parties not to hold the country hostage for personal interests.
“Wake up – you have the chance to unblock the situation. Don’t hold Kosovo hostage. It is far greater and more important than Albin’s ego,” Çitaku emphasized.
