Ramadan Morina, suspected of committing war crimes against the civilian population, appeared before the Basic Court in Pristina today, where a decision on his pre-trial detention is expected.
Morina was arrested in Pristina earlier this week.
According to the prosecution, between March 29 and March 31, 1999, Morina, together with members of Serbian police and military forces, allegedly participated in the massacre of 34 Albanian civilians in the village of Burim, Malisheva municipality.
