The Regional Water Company “Prishtina” has announced disruptions in the water supply caused by turbulence in the Ibër Lepenc canal due to ongoing technical works.
According to the company, the Shkabaj Water Treatment Plant (ITU Shkabaj) is experiencing irregularities that have affected the water supply in parts of Fushë Kosovë and Prishtina.
“Due to turbulence created in the Ibër Lepenc canal (as a result of technical work), we are facing occasional issues at ITU Shkabaj. This has disrupted water supply in some areas of Fushë Kosovë and will also affect certain parts of Prishtina,” the company stated.
The situation, however, is said to be gradually stabilizing, while the Albanik and Badoc treatment plants continue to operate at maximum capacity, according to KRU “Prishtina.”
