The Vice President of Vetëvendosje, Glauk Konjufca, has stated that his party has ruled out any coalition with the PDK, while confirming that Fatmir Limaj is currently the only figure open to forming an agreement.

In an interview with ATV, Konjufca emphasized that the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has twice rejected invitations for cooperation extended by Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Meanwhile, Limaj has shown readiness for collaboration, according to Konjufca:

“LDK rejected us twice. Two letters were sent by Prime Minister Kurti. From Vetëvendosje’s side, there is no political will for a coalition with the PDK. As for who we are willing to form a government with — we’ve seen openness from the other side, in this case, from Mr. Limaj.”

He further underlined that the upcoming constitutive session of the Assembly will be decisive in determining whether Kurti can secure the necessary numbers to form a government. If not, the process may shift to other parties or lead to new elections:

“If Mr. Kurti lacks the capacity to secure the numbers to form a government, then the opportunity goes to Bedri Hamza or, depending on the discretion of the President, to another figure. If that too fails, then the path leads clearly toward new elections,” Konjufca added.
