Kosovo’s representative for relations with NATO, Ambassador Astrit Zemaj, and Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci visited the exhibition “ArmWomenNow,” which highlights the women who have fought in the Ukrainian army in the war against Russia.

In a post on the platform “X,” Zemaj stated that they honor the courage of the Ukrainian military women who have defended their country.

“This exhibition serves as a powerful reminder of the bravery and resilience displayed by these women in the face of aggression,” Zemaj noted. “Their stories inspire us and underscore the importance of standing up for one’s nation and principles.”

The exhibition, open at NATO headquarters, showcases the personal stories and sacrifices of these female soldiers, providing a poignant tribute to their dedication and service.

Defense Minister Maqedonci echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the significance of recognizing and supporting the contributions of women in military conflicts. “These women embody the spirit of resistance and valor. Their efforts in defending Ukraine are a testament to their unyielding determination and strength,” he said.

The “ArmWomenNow” exhibition not only honors the bravery of these women but also aims to raise awareness about the crucial roles women play in armed forces worldwide. It highlights the challenges they face and the extraordinary measures they take to protect their homeland.
