Weapons and 372 Rounds of Ammunition Found in Two Abandoned Houses in Zubin-Potok

Kosovo Police have reported two cases of unauthorised possession of firearms in Zubin-Potok, where weapons, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and materials used to load ammunition were discovered inside two abandoned houses.

In the first case, reported on August 30, 2026, at around 3:00 a.m., police found and confiscated a hunting rifle, 119 rounds of ammunition of different calibres, and gunpowder used for loading ammunition. The prosecutor was notified, and the case remains under investigation by the relevant authorities.

In the second case, also in Zubin-Potok, reported at around 4:40 a.m., police discovered and confiscated a hunting-rifle stock and 253 rounds of ammunition of different calibres. The prosecutor was notified and ordered the opening of an investigation.

In total, authorities recovered 372 rounds of ammunition from the two abandoned properties, along with firearms-related materials.
