The acting Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, announced that during a police operation in the northern part of the country, Kosovo Police discovered three shoulder-launched rockets (zollas), two military-grade ballistic helmets, two military backpacks, a bulletproof vest, and a gas mask.
Sveçla labeled the case as “terrorism sponsored by Serbia.”
“State-sponsored terrorism from Serbia, as in this case today, has no place in Kosovo – and never will. We will not stop, not in any corner of our Republic,” Sveçla declared.
The case was initially reported by the Serbian-language media outlet KoSSev, which stated that the operation took place in a building known locally as “Vampiruša,” located on the outskirts of North Mitrovica.
The search was conducted at the second entrance of the building.
