Kosovo Police have released footage of the police operation carried out in northern Kosovo.
“Footage from the police operation conducted on August 30, 2024, in northern Kosovo, based on the request of the Ministry of Administration and Local Government to halt illegal activities and close five illegal municipal offices in northern Kosovo,” the police statement reads alongside the footage.
The operation yesterday, which resulted in the closure of five illegal municipal offices in the northern municipalities, provoked strong reactions from the US, EU, and the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, today KFOR was seen with an increased presence at the Iber Bridge.
