The White House confirmed on Tuesday that President Donald Trump plans to hold a virtual meeting on Wednesday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European allies, according to CBS.

Zelensky’s office has also confirmed the meeting.

The call will take place ahead of Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin scheduled for Friday.

The request for a virtual meeting with President Trump was submitted on Monday by Germany.
