Who is leading in Kosovo’s major municipalities?

The Central Election Commission (CEC) is continuing the vote counting process for political entities.

So far, 88.04% of votes across Kosovo have been counted, with LVV (Self-Determination Movement) in the lead at 41.29%, followed by PDK (Democratic Party of Kosovo) with 21.83%, LDK (Democratic League of Kosovo) with 17.75%, and the AAK-Nisma coalition in fourth place with 7.68%.

According to data from the CEC, in the seven largest municipalities of Kosovo, LVV is clearly leading with the number of votes compared to other parties.

In Gjakova, with 93.10% of votes counted, LVV has 47.15%, AAK-Nisma has 19.70%, LDK has 16.68%, and PDK has 10.23%. It should be noted that this municipality is currently led by Ardian Gjini from AAK.

In Mitrovica, with 89.52% of votes counted, LVV has 56.23%, PDK is second with 30.81%, LDK is third with 6.31%, and the “Koalicioni për Familjen” is fourth with 3.37%. AAK-Nisma is fifth in this municipality with 1.37%. This municipality is led by Bedri Hamza from PDK, who was also a candidate for prime minister.

In Peja, with 80.30% of votes counted, LVV is in first place with 41.37%, LDK is second with 28.01%, AAK-Nisma is third with 12.74%, and PDK is fourth with 10.11%. This municipality is currently led by Gazmend Muhaxheri from LDK.

In Prishtina, with 94.19% of votes counted, LVV has 46.80%, LDK has 25.54%, PDK has 18.43%, the “Koalicioni për Familjen” has 4.23%, and AAK-Nisma has 3.31%. Prishtina is also currently under the leadership of Përparim Rama from LDK.

In Gjilan, with 78.29% of votes counted, LVV has 51.54%, LDK has 21.73%, PDK has 17.06%, and AAK-Nisma has 2.73%. This municipality is currently led by Alban Hyseni from LVV.

In Prizren, with 91.10% of votes counted, LVV has 40.79%, PDK has 22.85%, LDK has 10.67%, and AAK-Nisma has 4.77%. Prizren is led by Shaqir Totaj from PDK.

In Ferizaj, with 88.16% of votes counted, LVV is first with 50.99%, PDK is second with 27.61%, LDK is third with 12.72%, and AAK-Nisma is fourth with 3.19%. This municipality is under the leadership of Agim Aliu from PDK.
