A forest fire erupted this afternoon in the Miras area, Devoll Municipality, Albania, spreading across a wide area. Firefighting teams have been deployed to contain the blaze.
Currently, two fire trucks, 10 firefighters, and around 20 personnel from the Directorate of Services and Forests are working intensively to isolate the fire and prevent it from spreading to surrounding areas.
Strong winds and dense vegetation are complicating firefighting efforts, while additional improvised equipment is being used due to the difficult terrain. Authorities remain on full alert to protect affected areas and prevent further escalation.
