Sali Berisha emphasized that they will not recognize the elections, but when asked if they would abandon the 50 parliamentary seats, the Democratic leader said decisions will be made at the appropriate time.
“We do not recognize these elections and will make every effort for a technical government and new elections. So far, nothing has been decided, discussions will follow. But if a technical government is formed, it will have specific objectives,” Berisha told A2CNN.
According to him, “the technical government will be made possible by the Albanians through their revolt and protests.”
“Of course, broad international understanding would be helpful for us. We have understanding for a technical government from all parties within our spectrum and will work with other parties, including liberals and social democrats,” Berisha added.
