Today at 17:00, the Organization of the Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans (OVL-UÇK) has called for a nationwide protest in Skanderbeg Square, Prishtina. The protest is aimed against the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (Special Court).

A senior member of the Presidency of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), Adnan Rrustemi, stated during an appearance on Teve1 on Wednesday that he does not rule out the possibility of participation from members of the party in today’s protest.

Regarding whether Vetëvendosje will support the protest or not, I think what’s more important is that those who once promoted, voted for, and founded the Special Court now seem to be joining Vetëvendosje’s consistent opposition to it,” said Rrustemi.

He further emphasized that this is not a political protest, but rather a citizen-led demonstration against the Special Court, indicating a broader base of support beyond political lines.

I believe there will be individuals from Vetëvendosje participating, because I believe this protest is non-partisan and citizen-based,” he added.
I can’t speak for individuals, but I believe some will join. However, we do not control people one by one—we respect their freedom of choice.
