A parliamentary session has begun in Albania aimed at approving the draft resolution to declare Iran a “state sponsor of terrorism.”
The day before, the opposition announced that they would not participate in the session, stating that it was convened for the personal agenda of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The draft resolution was approved with 79 votes in favor, 1 abstention, and 0 against.
The resolution was passed without the presence of opposition deputies, who had announced the day prior that they would boycott the session.
