The scheduled court hearing for the Banjska attack case was postponed today after key witness Dragana Antonijević failed to appear before the Basic Court in Prishtina.
Presiding Judge Arben Hoti stated that the court summons had not been properly delivered to the witness.
“Dragana Antonijević appears not to have shown up. Based on the evidence submitted to the court, she did not receive the summons in a proper manner. Specifically, the summons was received by her father, who indicated that she is currently in Serbia and might return at a later date,” Judge Hoti said.
The court will wait for official documentation or credible justification regarding the witness’s absence before deciding whether she should be escorted by police authorities to attend the next hearing.
According to the judge, the next session is scheduled for October 27, when a witness from North Macedonia is expected to testify.
