Work on the Iber Bridge is continuing today as part of the Kosovo Government’s preparations and aims to open the bridge, despite serious objections from allies who have expressed their stance against changing the current status of the Iber Bridge.
As reported by KoSSev, today workers were seen working on the upper part of the bridge’s structure, repairing areas where there were concrete cracks or where concrete had deteriorated over the years.
Additionally, workers have continued painting parts of the bridge. A report on the bridge’s load-bearing capacity is expected to be released following testing with four heavily loaded trucks.
KoSSev writes that today’s work on the bridge is also being monitored by carabinieri.
