The potential opponents for Kosovo’s national football team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been revealed, should the team qualify for the tournament next year.
The draw took place in Washington, and the World Cup matches will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
For the first time in history, Kosovo is part of the World Cup draw, and their potential group opponents have now been identified.
Kosovo’s possible opponents in Group D are:
- USA
- Paraguay
- Australia
- Kosovo
The 2026 World Cup will feature 48 teams, up from 32 in previous tournaments, and will be hosted jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
The matches determining the final six qualifying teams will take place at the end of March 2026.
