Ukraine has successfully completed a new phase of prisoner exchange with Russia, bringing back another group of Ukrainian soldiers, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed, as reported by Rks News.

The released individuals are members of the Armed Forces, National Guard, and the Border Guard Service. All returned soldiers are in serious health condition and will receive immediate medical treatment upon arrival in Ukraine.

Zelensky stated that this marks the second phase of the operation to repatriate severely wounded and gravely ill servicemen.

“We are working every day to bring every single one of them home,” the Ukrainian President said, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to making the exchange possible.

He reaffirmed that efforts to free all Ukrainians still held in Russian camps will continue without interruption.
