Former deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Xhavit Haliti, has expressed his deep gratitude to over 15,500 citizens both inside and outside of Kosovo who trusted him with their votes in the February 9th, 2025 elections.

In a message of thanks, Haliti emphasized that although the votes he received were not enough to secure his seventh term as a deputy, he remains committed to the political and national vision he has been engaged with for more than half a century.

“Your support is a source of strength to contribute to building a more developed, progressive, and secure Kosovo for all,” Haliti declared, adding that he will continue to be a strong voice within PDK.

He also called for the swift establishment of new, functional institutions to ensure stability and sustainable development in the country.

In the end, Haliti wished the PDK deputies and all elected officials success in their work for the citizens and the future of Kosovo.
