Following the tense meeting between U.S. President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky in the Oval Office, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has voiced strong support for Ukraine.
In his statement, Kristersson expressed Sweden’s full backing for Ukraine, emphasizing that President Zelensky is not just fighting for Ukraine’s freedom but for the entire continent of Europe.
“Sweden stands with Ukraine. You are not fighting only for your freedom, but for all of Europe. Slava Ukraina!” Kristersson wrote.
His words come amid increasing global solidarity for Ukraine as it faces Russian aggression.
