The United States has resumed military supplies to Ukraine, and senior officials in Kyiv will work on furthering military cooperation next week with Washington’s special envoy, Keith Kellogg, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday.

He reaffirmed that Ukraine had received high-level signals from Washington and other Western allies that weapons shipments—interrupted briefly last week—have now resumed.

“We are currently working with our partners on new supplies, scaling up arms production in Ukraine, and securing better support for our army,” Zelensky stated, as reported by The Guardian and Gazeta Express.

“Next week, we will continue our cooperation with the U.S. side on a military level… We are also preparing new European defense aid packages.”

Keith Kellogg, interviewed by Ukrainian media outlet Novyny LIVE while attending a Ukraine conference in Rome, said:

“We’ll be in Kyiv on Monday. We’ll be there all week.”

Former U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that he had reached an agreement with NATO leaders to supply weapons to Ukraine.

In an interview with NBC News, Trump said:

“So what we’re doing is, the weapons are going to NATO, and then NATO will give those weapons [to Ukraine], and NATO is paying for them.”

He added:

“I’m disappointed in Russia, but we’ll see what happens in the next two weeks.”
