Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine is “fully committed” to engaging in constructive dialogue with US representatives in Saudi Arabia next week, despite former President Donald Trump’s comments that he found it “easier” to deal with Russia than Ukraine in efforts to end the war.
“Realistic proposals are on the table. The key is to act quickly and effectively,” said Zelenskyy on X, ahead of his trip to Saudi Arabia next week.
Following his meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday, Zelenskyy mentioned that Ukrainian diplomatic and military representatives will meet with the American team on Tuesday.
“We are fully committed to constructive dialogue and hope to discuss and agree on the necessary decisions and steps,” he added.
