Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in London after a highly contentious meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington, stating that Ukraine is ready to sign a mineral agreement as the first step toward security guarantees.

“We are prepared to sign the mineral law, and this will be the first step toward security guarantees. But it is not enough—we need more,” Zelensky wrote on the social media platform X.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that after three years of war, the country’s citizens need assurance that the U.S. stands by their side. His comments come following an unsuccessful meeting at the White House, where no concrete agreements were reached with Trump.

Upon his arrival in London, Zelensky is expected to meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer later today to discuss further security and economic support for Ukraine.
