Zelensky Thanks EU Leaders for ‘Strong Signal’ of Support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to European leaders for their continued and unwavering support of Ukraine amid the ongoing war.

Speaking at the European Council Security Summit in Brussels, Zelensky acknowledged the EU’s steadfast stance since the beginning of the conflict.

“Throughout this period, and especially in the past week, you have stood by us,” Zelensky stated upon his arrival.

He emphasized that Ukraine does not stand alone in its fight, underscoring the importance of tangible support from European nations.

“We are not alone, and these are not just words—we truly feel it. You have sent a strong signal to the Ukrainian people,” he added.

The summit is expected to address further military and financial assistance for Ukraine, as well as strategies to counter ongoing Russian aggression.
