Zelensky Thanks European Leaders: The End of the War Must Be Just

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky publicly expressed gratitude to European leaders following their joint statement supporting Kyiv.

In a brief message shared on social media, Zelensky thanked European allies who emphasized that Ukraine cannot be excluded from peace negotiations.

“I am grateful to all those who stand with Ukraine and our people today for the sake of peace in Ukraine, which defends the vital security interests of our European nations,” said the Ukrainian president.

He stressed that peace cannot be achieved without justice: “The end of the war must be just.”

Zelensky also acknowledged key European leaders’ support, highlighting the declarations of President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and President Alexander Stubb as vital for Ukraine’s peace.
