Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that “America stands with Ukraine”, expressing gratitude to former U.S. President Donald Trump for his support.
Zelensky shared his message alongside a photo showing himself and First Lady Olena Zelenska standing next to Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump, symbolizing unity between the two nations.
This statement comes just days after Trump, in a major shift of position, said he now believes that Ukraine can win the war and reclaim all its territory occupied by Russia. He also emphasized that Moscow has been “fighting without purpose” for three and a half years.
