Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that this will be a busy diplomatic week for Ukraine, following his visit to Nordic countries earlier today.
According to Sky News, Zelensky is expected to attend the European Council meeting tomorrow, where discussions will center on how Europe can continue supporting Ukraine as it faces ongoing Russian aggression.
The Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, confirmed Zelensky’s participation, emphasizing that Europe’s commitment to Ukraine remains unwavering.
“Our commitment is unshakable. Our course is clear. We will continue to increase pressure on Russia while strengthening Ukraine in its pursuit of peace,” Costa stated.
The upcoming meeting is expected to reaffirm the European Union’s unity in supporting Kyiv, both militarily and economically, amid escalating tensions in the region.
