Zlatan Elek, nominated by the Serb List for the position of Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, did not obtain the necessary support from the deputies.
During the constitutive session vote, Elek received only 9 votes in favor, while 53 voted against and 42 abstained.
He is the second candidate from the Serb List to fail in securing this position, following Slavko Simiq, who also did not obtain enough votes last week.
