The Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE) has extended the deadline for energy operators to submit requests for an increase in electricity tariffs.

Sources within ZRRE say that the final deadline for submitting requests, including data on revenues and costs, has been extended until Wednesday.

According to the same sources, operators are required to submit complete financial documentation by this deadline, including reports on expenditures and revenues, as part of the review process for a potential adjustment of electricity tariffs.

The process of regulating electricity tariffs is carried out annually, while new tariffs are usually published in April, after ZRRE completes its analysis and consultations with relevant stakeholders.

ZRRE is expected, after receiving and evaluating the operators’ requests, to issue a final decision regarding possible changes to electricity bills for consumers.
