Despite efforts, the 14th attempt to form the new legislature of the Assembly of Kosovo has once again failed.
With only 54 votes in favor, the proposal to establish an electoral commission for a secret ballot to elect the new Speaker of Parliament did not pass.
As a result, the session lasted just four minutes before the acting chair, Avni Dehari, adjourned the meeting. The Assembly is now scheduled to reconvene in two days for what will be the 15th attempt at constituting the new Parliament. The next scheduled session is on Tuesday May 13, at 10:00 am.
