A weak earthquake was recorded overnight in the western part of North Macedonia.
According to available seismological data, the tremor occurred at 12:06 a.m. in the western region of the country.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers.
“An earthquake with a local magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Tetovo–Gostivar epicentral area last night at 12:06 a.m.,” the Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje announced.
There have been no immediate reports of injuries or material damage.
