The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, reacted on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Council of Europe.
Kurti, through a post on the social network X, emphasized that the CoE is the leading organization on the European continent for human rights.
This anniversary coincides with Kosovo’s application to the CoE, and the Prime Minister stressed that our country has fulfilled the criteria to join this organization.
“Today, 75 years ago, the Council of Europe, the leading organization on the continent for human rights, was established. This year marks the recognition of Kosovo as a country that meets the criteria for joining, implying the strength of our democracy, the rule of law, and our collective responsibility towards human rights,” Kurti wrote.
