Kurti and Rama Discuss Bilateral Relations and Strategic Projects Between Kosovo and Albania

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, officially welcomed the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, for a bilateral meeting.

The discussion focused on intergovernmental relations, bilateral agreements, joint infrastructure projects of mutual interest, and new opportunities during the current mandate of both governments.

Prime Minister Rama congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on his victory in the December 28 elections and the formation of the new government, to which Kurti expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening and expanding relations between Kosovo and Albania in the service of citizens and the nation as a whole.

Previous bilateral cooperation over the past five years has included the unification of school curricula, nationwide cultural projects, infrastructure initiatives such as the Prishtina-Durrës railway, facilitation of movement in border areas, recognition of diplomas, as well as collaboration in energy, security, sports, transport, tourism, and economic development.
