The United States Department of State (DASH) has issued a statement regarding the meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vjosa Osmani, describing her as a “committed partner in the Western Balkans.”
According to the official readout, Secretary Rubio thanked President Osmani and the people of Kosovo for being founding members of the Peace Board and for contributing resources to the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.
The statement further emphasized that the United States looks forward to cooperating with Kosovo’s new government to advance a shared agenda focused on regional peace, stability, and economic prosperity.
“Secretary of State Marco Rubio met today with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, a committed partner in the Western Balkans. The Secretary thanked President Osmani and the people of Kosovo for being a founding member of the Peace Board and for contributing resources to the International Stabilization Force in Gaza. The United States looks forward to working with Kosovo’s new government to advance our shared agenda for regional peace, stability, and economic prosperity,” the State Department said.
The statement underscores continued U.S.–Kosovo cooperation on strategic and regional priorities.
