During a cabinet meeting at the White House, Steve Witkoff, envoy of Donald Trump, confirmed that the United States has sent Iran a “15-point list of actions that forms the framework of a peace agreement.”

According to Witkoff, the document was delivered through the Pakistan government.

The plan had been reported for days by media citing anonymous officials, but this marks the first public confirmation from the White House that it has officially been sent.

Witkoff stressed that the U.S. will “maintain confidentiality over the specific terms” and “will not negotiate through the media.”

He added:
“We’ll see where things go, and whether we can convince Iran that this is a pivotal moment, with no good alternatives except more death and destruction. We have strong indications that this is an opportunity.”
