Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a working dinner with the European Union Special Representative for the Kosovo–Serbia dialogue, Peter Sørensen, according to a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister.
The official announcement said the meeting focused primarily on Kosovo’s European integration process, with emphasis on the full alignment of Kosovo’s foreign policy with that of the European Union as a strategic priority, as well as ongoing reforms required on the path toward EU membership.
Notably, the statement did not explicitly mention the Kosovo–Serbia dialogue, despite Sørensen’s mandate covering the process. The meeting was also attended by former chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi.
According to the government, discussions also included Kosovo’s application process for membership in the Council of Europe and broader political and domestic developments.
The meeting comes at a time when EU-mediated dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia remains a key framework for normalisation of relations, although public communications from both sides have at times differed on the emphasis placed on the process.
