The acting Government of the Republic of Kosovo has held an electronic meeting and approved a decision amending and supplementing decision no. 01/64 on the implementation of international sanctions.
The decision aims to align Kosovo’s foreign policy with the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union, according to Rks News.
The measure specifically relates to sanctions against Russia in connection with the war in Ukraine.
As part of the decision, the government unanimously approved the freezing of assets in Kosovo belonging to sanctioned persons and entities, a ban on entry into Kosovo territory, and a prohibition on providing funds directly or indirectly to those individuals or entities.
