The Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, said he met with the Second Vice President of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje, Mrika Limani Myrtaj, and that they agreed Kosovo needs the election of a President immediately after the upcoming elections.
According to the British ambassador, they also discussed the ongoing election campaign and the importance of political parties conducting it in a respectful manner while rejecting “hate speech, misogynistic language, and online violence against women.”
“Today I met with Vetëvendosje’s Second Vice President, Mrika Limani Myrtaj. We discussed the ongoing election campaign, particularly our hope that all parties will be respectful and reject hate speech, misogynistic language, and online violence against women. We agreed that Kosovo needs the election of a President immediately after these elections,” Ambassador Hargreaves wrote in a Facebook post.
