A new round of talks between Israel and Lebanon has begun in Washington, D.C., according to an announcement by the Israeli Embassy in the United States.
The embassy stated that the discussions will take place simultaneously on both diplomatic and military tracks, reflecting efforts to address political and security issues between the two neighboring countries.
According to a U.S. State Department official, the negotiations will begin with a joint military and political session, followed by a dedicated military session and concluding with a final political round of discussions.
The talks are scheduled to continue through Thursday.
The renewed dialogue comes amid ongoing regional tensions and international efforts to promote stability, reduce the risk of escalation, and address outstanding security concerns along the Israel–Lebanon border.
